Extremely pleased with promptness of order and courteous Sales communications. If I hadn't had a problem with the drive, this would be a 5-star review. But their tech support person was quick to interrupt before getting all the pertinent information, generally condescending in tone, and quick to mis-diagnose the problem as being the fault of the MacBook, assuring me that it almost certainly wasn't intended to take a drive this size (despite possessing no information to that effect). He had no problem telling me I was out of luck, they couldn't take the drive back even for an exchange. He didn't take 5 seconds to try to see if there was another resolution, and didn't sound sorry that I was going to be stuck with an unusable drive. Clearly, it was my problem and he didn't care. Follow-up research showed that the drive just needed a firmware update, so I'm happily using it in the MacBook. Thumbs up for sales, thumbs down for callous tech support. |

Be careful with this retailer. Make sure you are absolutely sure you are ordering exactly what you need because they'll charge a 15% restocking fee for just about everying returned. They only gave me 5 days to RMA so it cost me extra money to ship it back faster. I had a defective TV Tuner. They finally did refund the full amount but said they would only do it that time. They did state I could've got a replacement for free but I couldn't see paying for fast shipping back when they only allow 5 days to RMA if the 2nd one didn't work. One more issue. I spec'd out a TVTuner WITH an FM Tuner on Price Grabber. The product they sold me was the same model but WITHOUT the FM Tuner. They should not have been listed as an option because they didn't match my criteria. Of course they were listed as one of the best deals because it was a les expensive card. I don't know if this is their fault or Price Grabbers. Funny how HMComputer carefully inserted (TV Only) in only one place on the description. |

I ordered yesterday at night 2Gb memory T800UX2GC4 for $258.00 (in stock). Seller asked to cancel order because item 'was sold out and back ordered currently. And the re-instocking may not be available in the near future.” Next very morning the same item with the same part # ZMA100021257 in stock but with price already $319.00 (later this day $322.00). I don't know about midnight delivery. Not honest seller, bad ethic. |

I ordered a motherboard and I received it on time. It did not work. I called them and they referred me to the manufacturer (MSI). After some discussion, MSI concluded that the problem was in the motherboard, so I called HM Computer and they gave me an RMA number. As soon as they got it they checked it out and it worked for them. It turned out the problem was a bad keyboard. They sent the motherboard back to me quickly. They charged me for the return shipping since the motherboard was fine. |
